Meet the founder Polly Vickery
I started my career working in fashion production and from there went on to run my own fashion label with my twin sister. Our designs were stocked in stores all over the world, as well as selling in the UK to House of Fraser, ASOS, Topshop and others. Our label was made up of young trend pieces, bold prints and illustrations. We had a whirlwind experience running the brand and I took charge of our website and the design of it. From this, my passion grew and I became more focused on the website than other parts of the business. Eventually, we decided to wrap up the brand and take new directions with our careers.
I started working in ecommerce and marketing, which I loved but I gravitated towards design rather than the marketing and sales side.
I discovered Squarespace and built my first site for a makeup artist friend and everything grew from there. I took a course in UX design to learn more and picked up coding more and more on each new project. A chance meeting with Joe Talbot from Idles really kickstarted my business when I designed their site.
Coming from running a small business, and with a commercial and marketing background, I understand my clients’ needs and how important it is to get the site right. I’m innovative, always learning new ways of working, creating mood boards, and keeping up with the latest trends in web design.

The satisfaction I derive from seeing my clients happy and fulfilled with my designs is my ultimate reward.
Working with clients to complete projects gives me the opportunity to understand their vision and tailor it to their brand needs. I also enjoy collaborating with other creatives, pooling diverse expertise to bring out the best in each project.
I’m also the owner/designer at Jess Made Creative, a small studio based in Norwich, UK, providing bespoke design services to clients in the Uk and across the globe.
